You're a Pucker for Pretty Art

Olesya Robison's whimsical art will make your walls say merci.

You've given up on trying to perfect a pronounced eyebrow, but refuse to halt the hunt on finding just the right red lip.
Meet your match by way of the dreamy-glam art from NOLA-based Olesya Robison. Her delightfully decadent creations consist of canvases layered with thick glossy acrylic and resin, topped off with 18 and 22 karat gold paint and elements like beads, pearls and Swarovski crystals. Having worked for fashion houses and publications in NYC, the paintbrushess now garners inspiration locally from bike rides through the Quarter on the way to her Bywater studio. A few choice pieces are on display at the Ogden Museum through September 4, and you can purchase small prints, stationery and iPhone cases from her latest series Kiss Me online, or opt for a larger scale piece - we're crazy for her Caviar and Macaroons gallery wrapped canvas.
Your search is over - without a shadow of a pout.
